HEART Talbot Reserve BBQ 2013

On Sat 7 September 2013 Community Liaison Joseph Liava'a was joined by Neil Patel who volunteered at the HEART (Healthy Relationships in Tamaki) event in Talbot Reserve, Glen Innes.

The aim of the event was to take a bbq and set up shop at a local Glen Innes reserve, in the hopes of drawing the residents out of the mainly state housing precincts. It was an awesome day despite the inclement weather with heaps of local residents joining us; and a bunch of activities for the kids including creating their own worm farms.

Thank you Neil for sharing your time with the kids of GI.
