HPV vaccine
The human papillomavirus (HPV) can cause cancer in men and women and the HPV vaccine is available free to everyone aged 9 to 26 years.
HPV is a group of very common viruses that can infect about four out of five people at some time in their lives.
Immunisation protects against the types of HPV that cause most cervical, anal and genital cancers, as well as some mouth and throat cancers.
